1. Legal & Responsible Use

You may not use our services for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activity. This includes violating UK legislation such as the Communications Act, Computer Misuse Act, and any applicable data protection laws.

2. Network Integrity & Security

Users must not:

• Interfere with, disrupt, or damage network systems or infrastructure.
• Engage in hacking, port scanning, denial-of-service attacks, or distributing malware.
• Circumvent firewalls, filters, traffic management systems, or security controls.
• Operate open proxies or relay high-volume automated traffic.

3. Fair Usage & Bandwidth

All plans include unlimited usage; however, extremely excessive or abnormal consumption that negatively impacts network performance may result in temporary speed moderation or investigation.

Residential plans must not be used for commercial server hosting, public hotspots, or continuous high-traffic broadcasting.

4. VoIP Usage Requirements

VoIP services must only be used for lawful communication. Prohibited activities include:

• Autodialers, robocalls, spam calling, or mass unsolicited messaging.
• Fraudulent call patterns or attempts to impersonate other callers.
• Reselling or redistributing VoIP services without written consent.

SwishTelecoms VoIP services operate under Ofcom guidelines. Emergency calling availability may vary during power outages or network disruptions.

5. Harmful or Illegal Content

You may not host, upload, share, or distribute content that is illegal, violent, defamatory, extremist, or sexually exploitative. We reserve the right to report prohibited content to the appropriate authorities.

6. Monitoring & Enforcement

SwishTelecoms may monitor traffic patterns for operational, security, and compliance reasons. Breaches of this AUP may result in warnings, service restrictions, suspension, or immediate termination without refund.

7. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes. The latest version is always available on our website.
